Pageland Lane is the last economic development area available to support future economic growth in PWC!

County Staff gave a presentation to the BOCS on July 12th and discussed the economic development importance of Pageland Lane
According to County Staff, "when looking at the entire land area of PWC , we don't have a lot of future areas for an economic development component "
Scattered parcels throughout the County does not "move the Needle" to a robust local economy.

#1 A commercial tax base of 15.46% for the 2nd largest County in Virginia is unacceptable. Too many County residents remain underserved. Our level of school funding per student is not in the same ballpark as other counties. PWDG will " move the needle" on fixing this.
#3 Being known as "the high tech county" in technology rich Northern Virginia would mean a lot. PWDG will "move the needle" on fixing this.
#6A 66% commuting percentage is unacceptable. It is an indication of a failure over the past 20 years to attract core businesses to PWC.
That's exactly what the PWDG CPA is offering PWC.
