Without implementation of this new PW Digital Gateway Plan guidance and its implementation, many of the environmental resources within the Corridor will continue to degrade over time.

A heightened emphasis on environmentally sensitive site design, including the use of indigenous plants and the preservation of environmental resources is recommended, in order to ensure that the data centers blend into their natural surroundings.

Rezoning applications which implement the PW Digital Gateway Plan provide enhanced environmental impact mitigation strategies. Innovative ways to deploy state-of-the-art energy and water saving technologies are also provided.
